Rules and Instructions

Education-Session ::

The academic session will be from July 1 to May 20.

Term Leave ::

The term-end holiday will be from 21st May to 30th June.

Students going on leave ::

Normally no student is allowed to go home from the middle of the academic session. But in special circumstances, leave can be given to the student to go home. The right to allow a student to go on leave shall be as follows.

(a) Leave of up to 5 days may be given by the headmaster on the recommendation of the Ashram President.

(b) Leave of more than 5 days can be granted only on the recommendation of the headmaster. not by anyone else.

(c) Leave will be allowed to the student only once in the middle of the session in exceptional circumstances.

Routine of students entering Gurukul ::

1- Jagran/Touchadi from 04-00 hrs to 04-30 hrs

2- Exercise / Yogasana from 04-30 to 05-00

3- Bath from 5-00 to 6-00

4- Self study from 6-00 to 6-30 hrs.

5- Sandhya Havan (in the morning) from 6-30 to 7-00

6- Breakfast (breakfast) from 7-00 to 7-30

7- Self study from 7-30 to 8-30 hrs.

8- School from 8-30 to 12-00

9- Meal/rest (afternoon) from 12-30 to 2-00 hrs

10- School from 02-00 to 4-00 hrs

11- Toilet and 04-00 PM to 4-30 PM

12- Play from 4-30 to 5-45

13- Sandhya Havan (evening) from 5-45 to 5-55

14- Meal (Night) 6-15 to 7-30 hrs

15- Self study from 7-30 to 10-00 hrs

16- Sleep (Self Study) from 10-00 to 04-00

Exam Instructions >>

Exam Arrangement ::

(a) There shall be three examinations in a session. Quarterly, half yearly and annually.

(b) The headmaster will arrange the quarterly / quarterly examination.

(c) The headmaster will also make arrangements for the annual examination from class I to VIII.

(d) Annual examination from class IX to XII will be conducted by Registrar, Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar.

(m) After passing the tenth class, the student will be given a certificate of Vidyadhikari (High School) and after passing class XII, the student will be given a certificate of Vidya Vinod (Intermediate).

Medium of Examinations ::

The medium of all examinations to be conducted in Gurukul will be Hindi in Nagari script (for all subjects except Devanagari script, English and computer subject) and English (Roman script).

Test result ::

The annual examination results from class I to VIII will be declared by May 15 and will be sent to each student's home for term-end leave.

Passing Marks ::

1- Generally it is necessary to obtain 40 percent marks in each subject to pass.

2- Vritabhyas: It is necessary to get 45 marks out of 50 marks of Ashram discipline.

Special Releases ::

1- No candidate will be able to appear personally in any examination of Gurukul. It is necessary to stay in Gurukul's ashram and study regularly by attending classes.

2- If a student leaves the school/ashram without permission, the institution will not be responsible for it.

3- All correspondence related to the school should be done in the name of Assistant Chief Dean, Gurukul Kangri Haridwar.

4- The jurisdiction of any case related to school Gurukul Kangri Haridwar will be district Haridwar.

5- It will be the responsibility of the institution to deposit the money in the concerned office by the guardian. The organization will not have any kind of responsibility for giving money to a particular person. Do not give any pocket money to the students.

6- In case of non-receipt of food expenses for two months, the name of the brahmachari will be separated and sent home.

7- Once the name is different, for re-admission, the guardian will have to adopt the new admission process and pay the expenses.

8- The father / guardian / guardian of the celibate will bear the cost of the legal action taken by the institution to get the money.
